The Gift of Choice

When you know that the present of a gift card or cash is what your recipient would like the most, yet you also have doubts that they may be perceived as impersonal, thoughtless or lazy here are some points to re-consider which may remove your doubts:
- Give a gift card if you know where your recipient likes to shop. You may prefer to give cash if you do not know their favorite stores. Either way, this shows that you want to give them something they will value.
- Remember, this is a present, so give it a great presentation. And if you are sending it by mail be sure to protect it as you would any present.
- Lastly, and most important, take the time to sit down and write your own
greeting and note. It is one of the best ways to give a little of yourself and a great way to show you care.
